New Years Resolution...

I decided to begin 2007 in a new way.... Some people join a gym, give something up. I on the other hand joined a dating site (match.com)... go figure. It is something new for me! I realized I had to take control and quit complaining about dating in my mid twenties.

Next week I will be 26 and still not have thing figured out. Recently I have felt like I am going backwards instead of forward. I actually tried to rationalize with a guy on why it hurt my feelings that he wasn't honest with his friends about seeing me.

He refused to bend and so did I. And I am glad... he needed to do what was right for him and so did I. I went cold with my emotions (slightly scary how quick I can shut down) and realized I DO want more!!!!! I want someone who is PROUD to be with me no matter what..... whose heart races when they know they are minutes from seeing me and wants me by their side. But.... I want those feelings for him too!!

So I am choosing to pursue happiness this year and put myself out there. I can't complain until I really tried........... So this is going to be something all brand new to me....

Maybe there will be someone new for my heart or maybe an old one will come back some day.
